What do you usually do when riding a train or bus? Do you read? Do you sleep?

I usually look of of the window, and cast my eye over the pretty ladies.

or i talk to the person next to me, only and only if that person is someone i know.

I look out of the window and look at the people that are on the train/bus.

sleeping wud be a badd idea...especially on a public bus system...

just look outside and whatnot

On my daily commute, I read.

When I make my monthly trip from San Jose to Stockton, I read and snack on the trip THERE... and sleep on the return trip (4am train).

I do whatever relaxes me because when I get to where I have to go it may be a little nuts. I read if the lighting is good, I look out the window ( I may see someplace new to visit next time). I listen to my radio with earphones on. I take a little snooze, I catch up on bills, I eat. These are a few of the things I do when I am not driving.

I've met lots of interesting people, and had great conversations there.

Bad idea to go to sleep because could easily miss your stop.

I used to work with someone who went to sleep on bus each night on way home but just before his stop was a bump in the road so it woke him up

when commuting. I used to read the papers did great in the stock market. so much time to read and makes some $$$

I like to walk up and down the aisles talking about Jesus and the bible.  Trains always used to make me fall asleep, it must have been the rocking ' motion', however as the driver I soon got fired.

I look out the window, listen to the various local radio stations as I pass through the regions, drink some fine beverages, and enjoy some fresh air at the service stops.

i usually just sit and look out the window watching the cars and buildings go by

usually i just look at the cars and think about if it is a good or a bad car

as in engine and speed and such stuff

i don't sleep for i fear that i will miss my stop and i don't read either because that always makes me drowsy

I like to carefully pull out individual hair strands from the head of the person sat in front! When i get home, i weave them into a thread! I'm knitting a jumper!! :D
