  2. I eat salads with grilled meat of some sort!

Always ask for a glass of water.  That usually takes the edge even before you take your first bite.  Salads (unless you're a big fan) sometimes can leave you a little disappointed; so I usually opt for some kind of soup - and I stay away from cream-based, starchy ones.  I love minestrone - lots of beef broth, protein from the beans, a little pasta for the carbs, and it's delicious!

  4. order whatever meat you choose to eat that day, but try to stay away from anything with a creamy sauce or cheese on it, instead of a potato or rice ask for extra of whatever vegi the rest. is offering that day and have a salad, not soup.  If you can stand it then a lighter non-creamy dressing such as italian would be better, but if not and you really want that ranch that is ok too, just ask for it on the side and use it sparingly, and no bread, carbs are your worst enemy when you are trying to be good on a diet, especially at night when you are most likely gonna just go home and relax after dinner.  I eat like this all the time, home or out and it works for me!

  5. When you go out to a restaurant, forget the diet. eat sensible and don't order dessert but enjoy yourself.

    If you want a steak, eat a steak, just eat 1/2of it and take the rest home for steak & eggs for breakfast the next day. And leave the bread alone. Going out should not be a big trauma.

  6. Salad with grilled fish or chicken, and a low fat dressing or oil and vinegar. Or, I will order grilled fish or chicken with steamed vegetables. You have to be careful, because restaurants often smother healthy items with unhealthy ingredients like bacon, cheese, fattening sauces, etc. Don't have anything that's fried!!

  8. depends on how hungry I am...how well I've been following my diet so to speak. but it really doesn't matter what you eat. the key is more about exercise and moderation. you are allowed to treat yourself once and a while. enjoy!
