What do you want out of a social network?

I'm just wondering what do YOU want to see from a social network?

Honesty,

and for people not to be soo rude.

I would like friends.  You can never have too many friends.  I am happy with myspace.  They keep adding features and security to their site.

I have a myspace and the only reason I have it is that it is a very easy way keep in touch with my family, my siblings and my cousins, etc. I have some other friends that I know on there.

But for me it isn't a popularity contest. If I don't know the person outside of myspace I don't add them.
