  1. Clothes would be a good idea.

  2. Wear something muted.  No bright colors or patterns.  Some cultures accept bright colors as a way to celebrate the life of the person who died.  But, at a traditional American funeral, I would stick with black, or a muted grey or blue.

  3. white.. color is more peaceful

  4. How about white?

Most importantly nothing bright in colour.

  5. You can wear what ever you wish to wear.  This whole thing about black at a funeral is just a stupid tradition, that does not take into account peoples budgets or financial situations.  Just wear what you have after all it is not the clothes but you that is showing your respect for the person by attending the funeral in the first place

  6. Dress with respect an honor, to show empathy to the immediate family in there moment of mourning,to support them in saying good-bye

  7. dark blue or brown works fine.

You just shouldn't wear white or red - at funerals in the US.

It is different in other countires.

  8. Grey, dark blue, purple, brown, dark green.

  9. Something brown or dark blue.

Definitely nothing bright like yellow or red

  10. Whatever you do, don't wear a concert t-shirt (even in black), or anything with advertisement on it. I knew somebody that wore an Iron Maiden shirt (had that Eddie character on it) to an awakening, and he was removed. Purple, grey, or navy blue would work.

  11. Maybe you could borrow something black or wear dark colors.

Sometimes you can find nice stuff at second hand stores that will work for the day.
