  1. thermals

    pj's on top of thermals

    jeans on top of pj's

    then a fleece

    then a big jacket

    ski-mask

    bobble hat over ski-mask

By the way - the bobble hat is very important - don't forget it!

    socks

more socks on top of the first pair....

and then more on top of the 2nd pair

    slippers

    gloves

    hand warmers in jacket pocket

carrier bags on over gloves and slippers - just in case!

    hope that helps!

    oh, and ....enjoy yourself!

  2. thermals, sweats, and make sure you have a good quality sleeping bag that keeps you warm in low temperature areas. a cheap sleeping bag isn't going to work

  3. Buy a good bag.

  4. your tjhermal underwear

several thin layers then you wont overheat

  5. We also took hot water bottles.

If it's really freezing, then sharing a double sleeping bag is warmer than two singles.

An extra light blanket over a sleeping bag gives another layer.

  6. thermal under wear hooded sweat shirt and sweat pants and u should be fine

  7. Usually only a thin t-shirt as I sleep next to one of my sons (toddlers) in a double sleeping bag to keep them warm....and they in turn help keep me warm!

  8. sleep with a few layers of blankets under you. and be in a thick sleeping bag, put the clothes you are going to wear the next day inside the sleeping bag with you. Also throw a couple of other blankets on top of you.

I would reccomend to sleep with nothing but your underwear(not long underwear), and a tea shirt, only because when you wake up in the morning you are going to regret it when your cold, even after you put your clothes on. IT's much easier to know you have warm clothes to get into, other than sleeping with clothes on already.

Hope that makes sense to you. haha.. i have camped in 10-20 degree weather this way, and will never change it.

    hope this helps

  9. thermal underwear lots of of layers the reason is if you get warm you can take a layer off and dont forget a mummy bag best for warmth retention get a higher TOG rating

  10. More under you than on top of you.
