  1. Go to Weather Underground (www.wunderground.com).  I'm planning on getting married via cruise in St. Thomas and was wondering what temps were like in October.  WU will tell you past temps and last October 2006 it was 88 degrees.  Just go down to History & Almanac and put a date under Detailed History and Climate.

Enjoy your cruise - Don't forget TRIP INSURANCE.

  2. You will get a lot of sun so wear what ever you do when you are out in the sun a lot--either cover-up with sun screen or very little such as small shorts sandals and halter top.

Take casual for cool evenings outside, so jeans and pull overs and light jackets and comfortable shoes.

Take church clothes and very nice formal evening wear for formal dinners, formal shows and casinos and formal pictures. You can rent formal wear, but it is expensive and may not be as nice as you would want. Take dress-up s**y shoes for these formal occasions. You may even want to dance, so have dancing outfits.

  3. Dress according to the weather for that area when in general areas of the ship (deck, shops, atrium, daytime activities, etc.) and land trips.

Bring formal wear for the number of formal nights/Captain’s Dinner on the itinerary. I believe there usually 1-5.

Have dressy casual clothes for eating in the main dining room on other nights. Men will need nice shirt and slacks. Women, sundress, dressy pants and blouse.

May want to have a few club outfits for the onboard night club and evening events such as comedy and stage shows.

Also comfortable cute shoes for everything, because the ships are huge, a lot of walking on the first day trying to figure out where everything is located.

    Have fun!!

  4. Cruising is a lot of fun.  You are pampered as much as you want, but remember you will have to pay for some of it.  On this cruise there are two days at sea and you will have a formal dinner those nights.  That means evening gowns and tuxedos preferred, but a long dress and a suit and tie are acceptable.  If you are adventerous you will go on bike rides, horseback rides, or kayaking.  All are great fun and all require different wearing apparal.  We went biking and it rained the day before and it was MUDDY.  We didn't expect it and were covered head to toe with mud.  Still we had a lot of fun. On the ship itself the dress is casual or bathing suits.  Generally bathing suits are not allowed in the dining rooms but can be worn in the buffets.  Have fun.
