What do you wear to a Bar Mitzvah?

I'm going to a Bar Mitzvah in a couple of days and i was wondering what to where they said not to where blue jeans but come casual so I don't know.

well your a boy..maybe like khaki pants and a dress shirt? That's casual and formal

Casual means not a suit.

But, clearly, not blue jeans, either.

So, some other kind of pants (not shorts, but full-length) a little dressier than jeans.

And not a t-shirt, but a nicer shirt.

Unless it's very formal, just a nice pair of khaki pants and a button up shirt with dress shoes would do fine. I have been to several bar/bat mitzvahs and that's usually what the guys are wearing.
