     Where my spouse, at the time, was really going for lunch and a "breather" when she left the house. I wouldn't have this reminder on my mind all these years to think about.

I had a sweetheart at the time but I did not want to get married. By the time I was 30 I was married and had 2 babies. What was the hurry. I wish I had waited until 30 to marry. Or maybe 40.

I wish I had known that I could be this happy at almost 60.  I was sure that older people must be unhappy to have lost their youth and that they must all be depressed. Ah! , the ignorance of youth!  I think I am actually happier now than I was then.

That living alone is not such a bad thing.  I would have saved myself a bad marriage and a lot of damaging relationships.  Now I live by myself have a few near and dear friends and things are alright!  I haven't given up on love, but I don't feel as desperate as I was at 30.  I'm aged 52.
