Are you getting up in years and mad at yourself for never striking it rich as a singer? Or maybe you wanted to climb Mt. Everest but you keep putting it off... What have you not done but wish you would have?

  1. Always wanted to be a private detective, but life always got in the way.  It wasn't half bad being a travel agent though and seeing a lot of the world I would not have seen otherwise.

  2. Funny thing .. The only thing I'd like to do is travel around the U.S.A. ... I don't feel I've missed anything important.

  3. I wish I would have eaten food for dinner tonight.

  4. I'm just turning 50 and have too many regrets. Last year I got sick of the internal dialogue and said to myself "The only things I haven't done are the ones I chose not to cuz I was too chicken!" Having absorbed that disturbing factoid I got angry with myself and got motivated. I have multiple spinal injuries which limit me somewhat. But I decided to do what I could. I've been a NASCAR fanatic for 30 yrs. now, but never went to a major race. Did it. Always wanted to go for a train trip through California. Did it. I have tried to do many of these types of things but always planned them with someone else. The other parties always backed out at the last second. I figured I'd look like a goofball doing this stuff by myself. I quit caring about that and went on my merry way. I had a blast and met many people in the same frame of mind. What a blessing. Now the biggest problem is slowing myself down so I don't end up doing more damage to my spine. It has empowered me and done wonders for my self esteem as well as my overall well being. I've proven to myself that I can do anything within reason and that is a freedom I've never enjoyed. Even before I trashed my spine. My doctor didn't understand at first and kept telling me to slow down. Then he saw that my pain had diminished significantly and noticed the sparkle in my eyes that went away 15 years ago and before I ever met him. Now he just say's "Whatever you're doing is working. So keep on doing it." Attitude is everything. I'm the best me I've ever been. Better late than never. Now instead of lamenting all I didn't do, my mind is occupied with "What are we gonna do next?" Now that's livin baby. OK. Enough cliches. But it's the honest truth and it ain't rocket science.
