  1. "forever love"

its for mum, i lost her when i was younger.. its so shes with me everywhere i am:)

  2. "To Thine Ownself Be True" think it speaks for it's self! Have it on my lower back!

  3. I'm getting a tattoo on Friday the 13th of Feb 2009, because it will be the 5 year anniversary of my black cat's death (strangely enough on Friday the 13th).

This is the tattoo I am getting: http://fc02.deviantart.com/fs9/i/2006/01...

I am getting it because he had a special place in my heart, even though he was a stray and just turned up on the door step one day... and I will never forget him. I don't have siblings, so naturally Fang was the first one I would turn to when I had fights with my parents, and when I felt down. Sure he didn't give much advise, but when I needed to vent, he was always there and listened. When I was ill he would always sit with me as well, kind of like he 'knew'.

Sorry for the long story, but I thought I'd share the tattoo I am planning to get (haven't got it yet). I've wanted it for several years, but I feel that it needs to be done on the right date.

  4. On my left wrist is an eight point compass/nautical star for my grandad- i had it done when i was 16, the day before his funeral. on the inside of my other wrist is a norse rune that means 'calm waters after the storm' and i chose a norse symbol to represent a very dear friend who has helped me through just about every bad patch in my life.

The whole of my right calf is a beautiful fairy with tattered wings holding onto a clump of bluebells, for my younger sister who is mentally disabled and nicknamed 'belle'.

I have started my back piece, seven stars for the severn people i have lost, the seven funerals i have been to for those i loved. This weekend it will be finished with smoke and twinkle type highlights around it. i guess this piece may grow over the years.

on my left foot is a small plane and the word daddy in heavy type writer style print for my daddy who writes books and loves planes. on  my other foot is a clump of ponies with sparkely type star bursts and the word 'woman' in beautiful cursive script for my mum, who is fantastic and loves those flowers.

    longest link ever, sorry.

if it dont come up just type in "gothic wings" on bmeink.com

they symbolise - how i have always wanted to fly but most of all the design is feathered and spikey so its like good and evil. ying and yang in wing form. lol

  6. I have two kanji, but both will be getting covered pretty soon.  I have two beautiful mermaids, they have no meaning, I just loved the style of art and my tattoo artist drew up two beautiful stencils and I had those done.  I also have a tribal style gecko on my shoulder and a kind of lacy design on my right thigh, actually, none of my tattoos are meaningful, I got them because I like the style and the art from.
