What do yout think of the new Slipknot Cd?

I dont like it. I am a huge maggot (slipknot fan) and I really dislike it. They lost their fast paced/ loud style that made them such a unique band, now they sound like just another bullet for my valentine...

i would respect them more if they took the silly masks off. they look like lost trick - or - treaters onstage.

music wise, its okay, but ive heard better.

Only heard the album 3 times.  So far i'm not disapointed or over joyed.  

But no doubt Joey and Mick kick serious *** on the new disc.

I actually agree with you in a way. I like some songs on their new album(Psychosocial, All Hope Is Gone, and maybe one more.) There hardly is any singing, mainly drumming which i think they're great at =) If they had more singing in their song, i would like it more IMP. Other than those songs i mentioned earlier, i think their older music was better.

Good, but not great.

They concentrated too much on making a "metal-core" album with this one.
