  1. Vehicle registration and insurance documentation, driver's license, including paper version.  Probably.

  2. Pete WG is wright!

Every driver (of any kind of vehicle) must have :

-the vehicle's papers (registration = name differ depending of the country , in France it's called "carte grise")

-an insurance certificate (european green triple folded form)

-driver's licence (corresponding to the right category of vehicle)

  3. for driving in france you must be 18 years old !! then you just need a driving license and of course an insurrance.

    I think that's it.

  4. Europe, or better: The European Community, has a driving licence system that is fully acknowledged: making your licence in one country, you're allowed to drive in all other European countries.

the licence is made up of several classes, for example class 5 is for bipeds, class 3 is cars and class 1 is trucks, busses and coaches.

If your drivers have a regular licence, that is internationally acknowlegded, then you shouldn't have any problems.

But I'm not sure whether or not you also need a licence for driving other persons... :-?

and of course you need the vehicles papers, and an insurance card.

  5. the driver needs to have his tachographs up to date and have them with him. there are strict penalties if he doesn't.
