I wish to go to Adicora in Venezuelan and take my dog with me. I can fly to Aruba but then I can find no info as to how I get the last 50k to Adicora and what paperwork will be required by the Venezuelan authorities. Can anyone help.

  1. Leave the dog at home, either with friends or in kennels.

Even if you can take it into Venezuela, Will you be allowed to bring it back ? probably not.

Lots of hastle and not worth the effort.

  2. You'll need a passport, at the minimum. Don't expect to be able to bring the dog in, though. It's likely that the dog will have to be kept in quarantine for 3 to 4 weeks. If your visit is longer than two weeks, you'll probably need a visa. You should consider leaving your dog at home.

  3. you do not have to leave your dog in quaranteen but please register it as "luggage" and not as cargo because if you do, your dog will be kept in customs for some days. Ask the airline, they should know. Just bring all the paperwork that shows it has all the vaccines, etc
