What documents are required at the time of visa interview for a student? other than I 20?

  1. Why would you ask such a serious question on YA? You can easily find the 100% correct answer from your US sponsor and the US Embassy/Consulate web site in your country in the time it takes you to get "guesses" on YA. If you don't have all of the documents when you go to the interview, the officer will not accept "it was the fault of YA" as an excuse.


  2. I-20, financial proof (that you can pay tuition and support yourself in the US, because you are not allowed to work in F-1 status), and proof that you will return to your home country after your studies are through (proof of property in your country, family.. etc..)
