What documents are they asking for at the mexican border in order to comeback to the U.S.?

If you are travelling to and from Mexico by Land, you need a gov't isued photo I.D. and a proof of citizenship..either a passport OR birth certificate.  see site below and read top half of page carefuly to see current , correct  info.
