Sounds like someone who drinks a lot - 'dipsomanos' = dipsomaniac.

EDIT: I have assumed that your use of φ was really meant to be ψ = 'ps' in transliteration.

I think your spelling is wrong...

The word isn't in the Oxford Greek dictionary. Are you sure of the spelling? Is it modern Greek, or an older form?

διφωμανος (difomanos) comes up with nothing in any of the translators, nor with a Google search. Perhaps it's Greek slang?
