  1. The diggers played this game during world war one and two. its a gambling game many people could get involved in.

We actually have a Two-Up ring just outside our town. just an old tin shack in the shape of a circle. on anzac day it becomes quite a loud place with alot of money floating around. The police dont mind it at all... sometimes they will join in!

two-up is played with a paddle and two coins (usually pennies). the pennies are placed on the paddle, bets are placed, and the last call for bets is called. 'come in spinner' and the coins are tossed off the paddle into the centre of the ring. bets are placed accordingly to what the coins may land on, these may be:

    tails - tails

    tails - heads

    heads - heads

This is going to be played all over austalia in the bars, clubs and restaurants, only as long they have a liquor licence.

We all play it to remember the ANZACS and to have good fun!

    LEST WE FORGET!!!

  2. It's a gambling game played with 2 penny's thrown in the air bets are made on weather the coins come down heads/tails/odds
