  1. 26 inches diameter and 2.125 inches wide.  Depending on the style of the rim you can probably fit the next tyre Width DOWN. See your Cycleshop and take your wheel rim in  with you if not your bike.

Theres no fee for this kind of advice from them or ME!

  2. Standard MTB rims will normally accept anything down to a 26x1.5 slick.    That's what I put on mine for winter riding on the indoor trainer.

Cheap steel rims on a beach cruiser or department store bike may not accept the narrow rubber.  If that's what you've got, stick with the same size.

  3. You have to still buy a 26" diameter but you can get a tire that is narrower.

  4. The 26 means it is a standard mountain bike tyre ( 26 " diameter  )

    the 2.125 is the width

You can definitely fit a 26X1.95 on it and as said already you can probably go as small as a slick 26X1.5

PS different manufactures tyres can be slightly different widths it probably depends on how they measure it and if they are including the tread blocks

  5. If it says 26x2.125 on your bike tyre it means you should get the exact same one. I understand what you are trying to say.

  6. You should be able to fit a different width on your rim....there are many many different tires in many different widths.  26in is the standard MTB tire diameter.
