  1. I would guess it means, like when you would flex to show your muscle, except when you do your curl.

  2. Imagine you are wringing squeezing a wet sponge with just your biceps. Squeezing the biceps means contracting as hard as you can when your forearm touches your biceps. This technique will help you get stronger.

Lowering the weight slowly will bring you nothing but gigantic gains in strength and size. Try contracting your bicep as hard as you can on the top of your lift for 2 seconds, then slowly lower the weight for 4 seconds.

Afterwards, make sure to contract your triceps at it's lowest point- it makes biceps are stretched out after each rep. This will help fill the muscle with more blood, which means you'll get a better pump, and not to mention work out more of the muscle.

So, to maximize your strength and size?

Squeeze your bicep as hard as you can for 2 seconds.

Lower your bicep as slow as you can for 4 seconds.

Stretch our your bicep by squeezing your triceps.

Do this, and your arms will be nothing but awesome.

  3. That you flex your muscle as the weight has been curled up. So:

Curl fully, flex, let weight back down.

  4. This simply refers to "holding" the upright position instead of bringing the weight right back down. It adds intensity to your bicep workout.

  5. Im a Personal Trainer and the term basically means

when bringing the weights back up ,you need to tense your biceps as much as you can for half a second is good.

    then bring it back down,

when you do this your muscle fibers stretch further x
