Does that mean I will get it?.. Is it better then being 'Pre-Qualified'?

  1. Basically the credit card company wants you to apply for their credit card and chances are that you would get it. I get tons of pre approved credit card offers even tho I have three myself.

  2. it means in a quick look at your credit they think they'll approve you, but when they look at application they might find something and not approve you

    better but about the same

  3. If you have bad credit read the fine print very carefully.  You could get a 250 limit and about 180 of fees, in addition to a monthly "service" charge of 6 or 7 dollars.

If you have good credit chances are you will get the card and a nice but low limit.

  4. i think it is all advertisment from banks... i get them by the toe every day in my junkmail, i live in russia and get pre approved card invitations from the usa, uk and even germany, just because they got my address from somewhere.

i like to go to my bank, talk to a PERSON who can explain to me what i want and than i deceide what i take, a credit or debit card.

and if yo uget just a pre approved card, make sure that the fees and charges are not higher than your withdrawal or charge limit..
