  1. Yes, da yo is added at the end of a sentence. However, it is two parts and it is not the only way to informally say desu (the most informal way to do that would be to take desu out all together). "Da" is a more informal way to say "desu," and "yo" is added on the end to put emphasis on what the person is saying.

    In the example of the answer above me, the person would have really thought it was delicious and emphasized this by saying "yo" at the end of his/her sentence.
