What does 55.0 degrees F (12.8 C) mean?

I've never been good with temperatures, so does that mean hot, cold, warm, chilly... ?

    55F in Phoenix, Arizona= Freezing

    55F at the beach w/ sun= Comfortable

    55F at the beach w/o sun= Cold

    55F in Mammoth Lakes, CA= Warm

    55F in the summer= Cool

    55F in the winter= Warm

    All depends what you're used to and if you're climatized.  Takes 2-3 days for a constant temp to feel decent.

  7. 55 is mild temperature where you will a lot a sweaters or sometimes t-shirts in boys. girls will always wear a sweater  that is actually a pull over with the hood . the temperature is quite nice and not freezing  55degrees F is actually mild weather.

    However most Americans and other countries still use the older Farehiet scale.  

    They are both the same temps in either case.

    i would have to say 55 Degrees F is kind of coldish/warm, but more towards cold.
