  1. After Death....refering to Christ's death.  BC is Before Christ.

  2. It means 'Anno Domini' or 'in the Year of the Lord.'  It's supposed to be the number of years since the birth of Jesus Christ.  Given that many people don't follow Christ, and that the accuracy is questionable; today you will often see 'CE' for 'Common Era.'  They mean the same thing, though.  Most of the world, including effectively all European and derived societies, use this as their primary calendar.

Other significant calendars with different counts are the Hebrew calendar (dated from the Creation), the Muslim calendar (dated from the hegira of flight of Muhammad), and the Chinese calendar (dated from the reign of the first Emperor).

  3. It is an acronym for the Latin " Ano Domino" which means Year of our Lord. This is referring to time after the crucifiction of Jesus Christ.

it is mistakenly used in common speech as After death but that is not correct

  4. AD stands for Anno Domini, which is Latin for "In the Year of (Our) Lord"

  5. Anno Domini (In the Year of Our Lord)

It assumes that Jesus was born in the Year Zero (which He wasn't, OK?)

  6. its based on religeos.....like  B.C is before christ and A.D is after died...like after christ died....
