I dont watch any soccer/football/futbol, but it's very likely that AIG is a company who is sponsoring manny u. I dunno do they allow advertisements on jerseys in soccer?

If not, it might be the initials of someone who died that the team is trying to express solidarity for. Plenty of teams have done that.
