What does Account Balance mean?

Help me understand this please....

I just went into my account in my college website and I'm a freshman and am new to this.

It says Tuition Assessment Charge : 3,382.75

And next to it says Payment ___________ (its blank)

and then it says Balance: 391.75

And all the way at the bottom of my list

it says :

Term Charges: $4,204.70

Term Credits and Payments: $3,491.00

Term Balance: $713.70

Account Balance: $713.7

What does account balance mean? Does that mean I have to pay this amount before the deadline, which is September 16?

Looks like tuition and other charges like maybe for books and dorm.  The balance is what you owe. Make sure you got credit for any student loans and grants.  Start paying immediately so it can be paid in full before the next term.

Yes.  That is how much you still owe for this term.
