Blarney (An Bhlarna)  is the name of  town about 6 miles north of Cork City.

To talk Blarney basically means that you're over exaggerating or even lying. Its called "talking Blarney" because if you kiss the stone in Blarney Castle you get the gift of the gab, or talk like an irishman as some say.
