What does CPO and CMO stand for? This is in regards to the field of clinical operations.?

  1. CPO is probably "chief privacy officer", someone who is involved with risk assessment and managment, patient privacy, etc. They would be focused with a lot of legal stuff, making the hospital administration happy, and isn't usually a medical doctor.

    CMO is "chief medical officer", someone who provides leadership and/or oversight for a range of quality assessment/quality improvement, patient safety, and population-based health management programs. Their focus is on making the patients happy and is usually a trained physician.
