I am thinking about buying creatine to bulk up, and I was wondering what Creatine actually does to your body.

Thanks

  1. Just makes it take in water, then use it. No scientific terms are necessary to explain that, its just osmosis, to the next level... In all seriousness I'd prefer plain protien mix though...

  2. Creatine monophosphate acts as a ready source of energy for muscle metabolism. It will help you work harder, longer. Take in conjunction with protein for maximum results.

  3. creatine is supposed to draw water into your cells.  The problem is regular creatine (creatine monohydrate) has a terrible absorption rate so only a small amount gets into the cells.. the rest of it.. along with the water it draws.. stays inbetween your cells and bloats you and gives you cramps.  Creatine Ethyl Esters is the way you want to go.  It has a way better absorption rate
