What does Delivered Abroad on USPS mean?

I sent a item to someone and they said they haven't got it yet. I checked the status it says Delivered Abroad. what does that exactly mean?

The package was dlivered overseas by US Postal Service, which must have been by a US military installation.

Sorry to say that the other answers are a little off base.

Delivered Abroad means just that. The foriegn postal administration has delivered your item to the address in that country.

Tell the addressee to chesk with other household members and/or neighbors to ask about the package.
