What does EFO mean? It shows as an error message on my washer?

I have a Frigidaire Affinity front load washer. Occasionally the screen shows an EFO message and all the lights flash. I looked in the paperwork and went online. Can't find an answer!

In a forum, I found some others that have had this same error. Here is a link to one of the forums, in which someone answered this question quite knowledgeably. It seems to be an error to do with a filter, found under the washer. These links have info on how to check the filter:
