  1. odds: 11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25,27,29,31

    every other odd: 11,15,19,23,27,31

    Edit:

Technically, it should be every second odd (13,17,21,25,29), but I assume she wants you to do the first and last # she listed, so I think 11,15,19,23,27,31 is what she wants

Edit: You just skip half the odds. You do the first odd, skip the next, do the 3rd odd, skip the 4th, etc.

  2. An odd number is not even ... like 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 .....

every other means not the next one, but the one after ....

so if you use 1 as your start, the next odd one will be 3, but you don't want 3 you want the one after, so the number after 1 will be 5, after that the number will 7 and after that 9   - see every other (it's easier if you pretend the even numbers aren't there) ......

Correction! (Oops!) the number after 5 will be 9 and the one after that will be 13......!
