What does F21 mean on a washer. my washer keeps on saying f21 and quits its job then i have to restart it?

F21 is your drain problem.

Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug the washer.

Check the following.

Is the drain hose kinked?

Is the drain hose frozen?

Is the drain hose clogged?

Is the drain hose more the 96" above the floor?

Fix problem and restart wash. Good luck
