What does Ferrer have to do to close the gap on Davydenko?

Seems like hes more consistant, gets further in grand slams, some would say a better player? So how far off the world number 4 ranking is Ferrer, and what does him and Nikolai's head to head record look like?

Ferrer already surpassed Davydenko in the ATP rankings.

Davy: 3115 - 145 = 2970

Ferrer: 3005 + 40 = 3045 (could go higher, he's still in the tournament, not like the slouch Davy).

Great question. I think David Ferrer is a much better play than Nikolay, he somehow doesnt get enough credit. He`s becomming a more all round player and played a really good match today against Igor Andrev. Im not sure how far behind david is but it cant be by that much surely!!!!
