What does God want for a soldier, sailor, marine, or airman to do while at war?

Before I left my wife and baby because I'm deployed, I was filled with love for all mankind no matter what race, religion, etc. Now, I am filled with anger and hate towards some people if not most of a kind of people and their beliefs. What is an Armed Forces member to believe or think? I don't want to feel or believe this way but I'm exhausted.

Religion has nothing to do with God (Christ Jesus).  Therefore, any religion that teaches something other than the blood of Christ Jesus as they only way to heaven, hates God (refer to John 1:1-3).  Also proving that religion has nothing to do with Christianity or God.

"Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things."  2 Timothy 2:1-7

To me, what He wants is for you to believe in what he thinks of you and has promised you. It's quite different from what members of move on dot org or Code Pink might think of you: You are loved. You are forgiven. You are saved.

As far as developing a hatred for other people because of their beliefs, think of Al Queda and the rest of the Hirabah (terrorists) as the Ku Klux Klan of Islam. No one hated all Protestants because of the presence of the Klan. So, don't hate all Muslims because of some whack jobs like Al Queda. Even Muslims know that Al Queda's actions constitute a Harram (an offense against the Koran).
