  1. You're missing a device to chop heads off?

I think the quiz is messed up.

  2. A Guillotine (pronounced gee-a-teen) was used for beheading.  There was a piece similar to a stock on the bottom (something used to imprison people by locking in their head/hands).  At the top was a blade as sharp as a sword or axe that would come speeding down when released by the executioner and thru the neck of the "victim" causing decapitation.

As far as I know, Guillotines haven't been used since the French Revolution...

  3. It means that you apparently need to be decapitated. A Guillotine is an 18th century machine that cuts off one's head, and catches it in a basket. That quiz is harsh... and I thouhght schools were trying to discourage suicide.

  4. Guillotine is that thing that the french made, it was to cut the heads off people by straping them onto a bench with there heads through a hole, and then a blade dropped down to cut there head off.

  5. There are many meanings

    I hope it helps.

  6. google it.

    lol, Just Me ^

  7. Apart from being the first execution "machine",

today the word is used for a device for cutting paper, mostly by artists and small-scale publishers.

"Guillotines" is also the name of a punk band.

Sorry but I can't conceive of any idea how one of these would be missing from your life - unless you know somebody who is in urgent need of decapitating. ;-)

  8. A Guillotine is a device for executing people in France a couple of hundred years ago.

so that makes no sense at all.

  9. Guillotine is a FREE and lightweight Windows utility that allows you to quickly and naturally access items you commonly (and uncommonly) use like programs, bookmarks, contacts, and web searches. The idea is to find things quickly just by typing a few keys, selecting your item, and going on your merry way. It's much more intuitive than hunting down those items as you normally would. It may take a while to break your old habits, but once you do, you'll see how much more intuitive it is to your normal workflow.

    it is also

The guillotine (pronounced /ˈgijətin/ or /ˈgɪlətin/ in English; [gijɔtin] in French) was a device used for carrying out executions by decapitation. It consists of a tall upright frame from which a heavy blade is suspended. This blade is raised with a rope and then allowed to drop, severing the victim's head from his or her body. The device is noted for long being the main method of execution in France and, more particularly, for its use during the French Revolution. The guillotine also "became a part of popular culture, celebrated as the people's avenger by supporters of the Revolution and vilified as the preeminent symbol of the Terror by opponents."

here is a website with some great pictures.

in your case I think they may mean you are missing a certain amount of RISK in your life. you dont take chances.

  10. Umm, actually, a guillotine was a device used in medevil times to chop off people's heads....fun huh? Marie Antionette thought so too...

  11. it's a form of punishment used in the old days see anyone sentenced to death was put in a wooden stand with a basket below them, and a Executioner would be there and chop off they're head which would fall in the basket.

  12. Guillotines were used to execute people..They were commonly used by the French in the late 1700's...they were used to decapitate people..as in cut off their heads..

  13. it means you need to decapitate yourself.

  14. Sticking your neck out a bit there kiddo.Reel it back in,and quick Madame.

  15. Guillotines is a common beheading tool that was used in France and Britain. I am not sure what the missing "element" of your life would be. Maybe it is death. Don't take those stupid quizzes seriously though, or you will go insane.
