Ok in this dream i run into what my question says- a bright red snake with black diamond spots and another one thats exsactly the same except it has blue instead of red. The red one is by grey water and its looking at it and the blue one i find on a path in a Y shaped tree thats in the point of the Y in the path I find it on. with both snakes im phased for a moment that they are there but I quickly move on.(i ran into the red one first and walked down a path which led to the blue one) and i kept going back and forth from the blue to the red, when finally I go to the red one last time and the red one attempts to go into the water it was staring at and I jump across the river to get away from it(but not of fear)

Later in the dream the red one grows in size and someone helps me kill it.

The parts that stood out most in it were the color, pattern and locations of which I found them.

what does/could this mean?

  1. This dream makes me think of yin-yang.  It sounds like the snakes are equal but opposite forces balancing each other out.    Grey water seems to me to represent muddled or hard to see emotions.  The Y shaped tree could represent different avenues of development or paths you could take or simply represent a balance of the 2 forces.  I think its interesting that you go back and forth to both snakes over and over.  You should read up more on yin-yang.  maybe killing the red snake represents an imbalance of yang or fire in your life.  good luck!

  2. I honestly haven't the foggiest idea, but in the psychology section is a section for dream interpretation. There are some good interpreters over there who've helped me a time or two.

  3. I'm not sure, but I know that if you have a dream where you are being chased by a giant crab that is shooting lightning at you and wearing loafers, then you are ultra super g*y!
