Fragment 88: And as the same things there exists in us living and dead and the waking and the sleeping and young and old; for these things having changed round are those having changed round are these.

  1. My copy says:

    "And it is the same thing in us that is quick and dead, awake and asleep, young and old ; the former are shifted and become the latter, and the latter in turn are shifted and become the former."

    Basically things are in cycles.
