What does Hi -fi in radios mean?

the reason um asking is that it seems all radios written hi-fi they are expensive may be um paying the service that i dont use

Hi-Fi stands for high fidelity which is a fancy way to say high quality sound reproduction.   Don't worry, it's not a service like wifi ha ha.
