  1. hey zarah!

i always thought it was something that just came with lightening but because light travekls faster than sound, it came after. but jus go here, i think itll have all the info u need: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunder

    hope it helps xx

  2. IT IS THE SOUND OF HIS HEART BREAKING BEFORE HE CRIES

  3. He's moving the furniture

  4. Are you sure about the god crying part Zahra?

But anyways it dosen't mean anything.

It's just a type of weather like rain, snow, or sunshine.

    Atleat that's what I believe.

  5. I was always told the thunder was the sound of God rolling a strike in a game of bowling.

  6. ive heard all three of those lol. and they are all very adequate ones. i was going to say it was the strike in a game of bowling.

  7. Well, the REAL answer is due to something called cavitation...

When the electrical bolt strikes out into the air, it vaporizes, displaces (and ozonates?) a great deal of air...

When the bolt suddenly dissipates, it leaves a space of very little "air" (a cavity and low pressure area in the atmosphere)...

When the air surrounding this cavity rushes in from all sides to fill the void area, it CRASHES together creating a sonic boom which  we call thunder...

    There you have it! :)
