What does Jordin Spark's new song 'One Step at a Time' mean?

I was thinking about it today and I am not sure, but I think it might be about wanting to be noticed, or possibly popular or famous...but nobody really knows you yet.("You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet") And you have to take one step at a time, small goals leading up to the big finale.

Okay I think I just answered my our questions...

But I want to know your thoughts on it, what do you think it means?

I think that it's about taking one step at a time, and don't just rush into things. For example, love ("...like learning to fly....or fallin in love...") isn't something that you should rush into, you should take things slowly and enjoy life, and it'll work for you. But you have to be patient ("....the only way to get there.....is one step at a time...")at the same time.

It means that you should just take life one step at a time and not rush into things like love.  But your right, part of it does mean taking one step at a time to try to be popular. It says it right in this verse:

You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet

Wonder when and where and how you're gonna make it

You know you can if you get the chance

In your face as the door keeps slamming

Now you're feeling more and more frustrated

And you're getting all kind of impatient waiting
