Jungle fever is an old term that has been used for a long time. Mostly used to describe why a White person would be interested in a Black person. It's called jungle fever because it was seen as a sickness, and because of the origin of Black people in the US.

It's a horrible combination of words.

A racist and derogatory term that refers to people in an interracial relationship. The term implies that the couple is only temporary and are simply interested in the other person because the person is different or exotic meaning that after the novelty wears off the couple will break up.
