  1. Monosodium Glutamate...it's a flavor enhancer.

  2. Monosodium Glutomate.

  3. Monosodium Glutamate. It is HUGE flavor enhancer that most Fast Food, Junk Food, and other unhealthy selling food companies tend to use. Without it, not to many people would be  a fan of Lays Chips or Big Macs or......your catching on,right?

  4. mono sodium gulcomate

  5. Monosodium Glutamate

  6. Monosodium glutamate, a "flavor enhancer."

Some people are very sensitive to this stuff.

Some people try to avoid it even though they don't have a verified problem with it.

I worked for a Chinese restaurant a long time ago and they put it in almost everything.

I liked the way it tasted at the time. It's kind of like regular table salt but it has a slightly different flavor. It's probably not the healthiest thing to have, but I guess it's okay in moderation as long as the person can tolerate it.

I don't think Chinese restaurants use it as much as they used to, but I'm not sure about that. It's used quite a bit in chips and some other foods, though.

As far as I know, it's vegetarian. Made from fermentated beet or cane sugar.

  7. monosodium glutamate

it is a sodium salt of glutamic acid, a non-essential amino acid. It is used as a food additive and is commonly marketed as a "flavour enhancer".
