  1. Mexico smells like paradise. Its beautiful there and you always here the waves and its just wonderful there. I loved it and it never smells bad :P

  2. It depends where you are.  Mexico City has lots of scents as you walk down any street:  cardboard, bakery, garbage, flowers, salsa.

Corn tortilla smell pervades a lot of Mexico.

    Sometimes dog.

Dogs are different in Mexico.  They form packs and roam the streets together at night.  They wander on their own during the day.  Magically they can walk all over the place yet end up at home for dinner.  I've seen it.  It's insane.  Take a dog for a walk through a maze of streets up and down, around corners, then say bye to the dog.  You will find it at home later on.  They just know.

  3. Mexico City smells polluted--some days are better than others, but there are just too many cars.

Small towns in the mountains (like Oaxaca and San Cristobal de Las Casas) smell like wood smoke in the mornings, as people wake up and start a fire.

If you drive around the country, you'll smell the smoke of fields being burned off before replanting.

Beaches around the country smell of the salt air.

These are just a few of the smells I can remember from my trips.

  4. If you are in the state of Veracruz, it smells like roasting coffee as this is a great coffeee producing region.

  5. Como Fabuloso!!

  6. Like in all cities of the world, it depends on what part of town you're in.
