  1. Ostia is really just a small town, now.  It used to me a major port.  Now, tourists visit the archaeological site of Ostia Antica and the Castle of Julius II.  So, I guess that tourism is now the major industry.

    You can swim, have a bathsun or visit archaelogical sites or its pine forest. On the beach you can find sand dune and tipical vegetation. Osita is famous about its kitesurf center.
