  1. One station unit training.

Means all his training is in one place.

  2. PK and Seth answered what OSUT is. Secret Agent got MOS covered. I did OSUT when I went into basic at Ft. Knox. 18 weeks of Basic with classes in the evening. We called it "Oh ****." It's your AIT mixed in with Basic

Depends on what his company allows once basic is over. We had a weekend off before shipping to Germany (or where ever your next duty station is)

  3. In the Marine Corps. MOS means Military Occupational Specialty.

  4. my husband did OSUT and did not get a pass after BCT. there was no break in their training. His AIT was at the same location as his BCT, and he finished BCT friday night, and started AIT the next morning as if it were just one big long training session.

  5. OSUT= One Station Unit Training

It basically means BCT and AIT are back-to-back at the same location.

Edit: He will get a week off before AIT starts. MOS means Military Occupational Speciality. It's nothing more than a combination of numbers and letters that are a code for a job. Your husband is going for Infantry, so his MOS will be 11B.
