  1. He's a carpenter now? I guess that makes sense since a lot of folks on the right call him Messiah (in that they claim the left sees him as one).

  2. More people want to hear him than McCain.

  3. Greek temples were built to honor and glorify the patron deity. They were meant to serve as homes for the individual god or goddess who protected and sustained the community.  It was the needs of the gods that were most important. They controlled the forces of nature— the sun and rain which nourished their crops and the winds which drove their ships. Although generally benevolent, the gods could be quite capricious and were liable to turn against the community— so it was in everyone's interest to make sure that they should feel completely at home. Their houses were the finest, equipped with a staff of servants to look after their every need. They received daily offerings of food and drink along with a proper share of the harvest and the profits of any trading or military activity.

So, I guess it could say that the 20,100 seat capacity of the Pepsi Center, where many famous politicians and former Presidents graced Democratic supporters, was not big enough for Obama (who some refer to as a messiah, and who Nancy Pelosi declared was sent by God). Invesco Field, with a 76,125 seat capacity, was a more worthy choice instead. [thumbs down to follow]

  4. Did he build it?  So...probably nada.

  5. Uh.... nothing?

  6. Megalomaniac.

    Pompous.

    Hubris.

    Egomaniac.

    Bad Party Planner.

  7. That the DNC hired a bunch of people to design and build a stage set.

Or do you think Obama did it all ?

  8. It's Greek to me.

  9. Just like the Temple - absolutely fabulous and impressive on the outside.  Look behind and it's just a fake front that it propped up by 2X4s.  All show, no substance. And the first strong wind (of adversity)would send them both crashing down.

  10. That he is the proverbial sow's ear that the Democrats want to turn into the silk purse.

  11. That he has good taste.

  12. the talking points against Obama get more and more lame every passing hour...

it gives me so much hope, that in the face of this Economy, War, healthcare, Education and many other threatening crises...

...the repubs are talking about how Obama's stage set has pillars in it...and isn't that evil?

it leads me to believe that know they can't win any any issues.... but LET HISTORY REMEMBER:  ON THE ISSUE OF STAGE PROPS...THE REPUBLICANS ARE THE CLEAR WINNERS...

    congrats republicans

  13. That is the convention end speech and he move masses.
