What does PTS mean in Shopping?

I am studying in Spain. Sometimes under prices at Carrefour or various stores they have a number followed by pts. What does this mean? Also one of the atms I got money from also mentioned something about pts.

  1. It means pesetas, the old currency we used before having the euro.


  2. It means pesetas. In Spain they got the new european currency only 5 years ago so they have the conversion to pesetas in the tags to help the ederly people. To give you an idea, 1 euro is 166 pesetas aproximately.
