What does Physics have to do with Cheerleading??

i need to do a project for physics and i have to see what physics has to do with a sport or hobby. so i picked cheerleading. but i need help!

Actually quite alot. Ok gravity and motion laws are the obvious answers. But also all the rotations are governed by the related angular momentum equations. For example why you tuck into a ball to somersault faster.

At high level computer modeling codes are used to stimulate the stress and shape of the body. So for example people have used the physics equations governing stress and strain to stimulate the stress on a hip of someone landing in splits.

Obviously, when the girls raise their arms, they are defying gravity.  Newton's first law gets involved with their movements.
