It stands for Recommended Retail Price.  This is the price that the manufacturer suggests an item should be sold at.  For example, the RRP of a particular TV is £399.99.  The store can sell it for more, or less, than that, at their discretion.   So the ad might say RRP £399.99 Our Price £349.99, £50 off.  It's important to realise though, that the retailer is allowed to charge more than the RRP, should they choose, as the RRP is the recommended price, not the maximum allowed price.
