What does Sullivan Tire and other tire places do with the old tires you give to them?

Do they just dump them in some other landfill, or do they, like, recycle they like recycle them to make stuff?

no some ppl get paid for the old ones which is messed up cuz they charge you disposal fee and still get $ for recycleing them.. they are being made into retreads but most are made in playground materials and made into new tires

Tire stores are required by law to have their tires picked up by a licensed waste tire recycler. and the tire store pays the waste tire company to pick them up.

They aren't made into 'retreads' or new tires.  The old tires are basically chipped up, the steel removed and used in different applications such as playground rubber mulch, rubber mats, etc.
